Posting some of my final shots from Egypt this week and will be sharing lots of new guides on the blog soon—like outfit inspo, our 10-day itinerary, and tips for adventure travel when pregnant!

I definitely don’t wanna sugar coat it—traveling this far in my third trimester wasn’t easy. Most days were over 105F and 30 hours of travel to get to and from Egypt is already hard enough when you aren’t carrying an extra carry-on in your belly.

But, the trip itself was amazing and I actually felt great the entire trip thanks to some pre-planning and organizing lots of comforts along the way.

How to feel small when you’re 7 months pregnant 😛

I was worried that a week of exploring ancient Egyptian sites might start to feel mundane—how different could they really be?

I can honestly say that each temple has wowed me for one reason or another. The pharaonic period spans 3000 years, so they are all unique!

Karnak Temple was constructed by the female pharaoh Hatshepsut who ruled for 22+ years!

The sheer size of it is incredible—there are 134 of these giant columns 🤯

It’s considered the largest open air museum and religious building in the world!

I'm currently planning my first trip of 2020 with me, myself and I! Solo travel is my own form of #selfcare.

While it can seem daunting, traveling on your own is incredibly liberating! You pick wherever and whenever you want to go, what you want to do, and what you want to eat. It might seem straight forward, but even when you're traveling with your family, or best friend, or partner, you end up doing some things you don't necessarily want to do, or you might skip something that really excites you!

I've traveled alone all over the world—from Mozambique to Egypt to France and they've been some of my all-time favorite trips.

Scuba diving has become my biggest passion and, most of the time, I choose to take these types of trips alone. This year, I've decided to book a solo trip to go diving in Curacao! Part of the ABC islands, this island has amazing coral reefs, sea walls, and sunken ships.
