When I was planning my beach wedding in Naples, Florida, I knew I wanted to put a fun and modern twist on a few traditional details.

Instead of flowers, my girls carried clutches, and it ended up being one of my favorite details from the entire day. The idea came about because our planner pointed out that my bridesmaids are all so fashionable and encouraged us to lean into that. Rather than covering up their looks with bouquets, she suggested giving them their own runway moment and letting their style shine. The clutches created a chic, elevated look for our beach ceremony while also feeling practical and memorable. Flowers are beautiful, but they're often one of the most expensive wedding details and are only used for a few hours. A clutch, on the other hand, is something my bridesmaids can continue to use long after the wedding day.

Another detail I loved was that each of the girls walked down the aisle on her own. It felt fresh, confident, and a little unexpected, which paired perfectly with the clutch idea. Together, those choices made the bridal party feel stylish, modern, and uniquely us.
