This camera is my best friend. I started as a Canon girl, and I’ll be one forever. The colors come out so vivid and crisp. I use a 50mm lens for the most part, it’s the most versatile in my opinion. It makes a great starter combo with the body of your choice. Mirrorless isn’t something I’ve tried, I guess I’m old school. There are less expensive models, but going for an entry level full frame camera like the 6D Mark 2 is an amazing start. ♥️ Please note that this is a great kit from QVC but you’ll still need the lens. ✨ GLOW UP TUTORIAL ✨ If you’re looking for that radiant, lit-from-within glow and a sparkling eye look that wows, you’re going to love this makeup tutorial I did on my gorgeous model, Maxie! 💫 To achieve this luminous look, I started with the Charlotte Tilbury Highlight Wand, which is a liquid highlighter. I pressed it lightly onto the skin with the best makeup sponge, The Makeup Bullet. Next was the iconic Becca Cosmetics Shimmering Skin Perfector Pressed Highlighter in Champagne Pop — you cannot go wrong with this shade. It's the perfect golden-peach glow that flatters every skin tone and melts into the skin like butter. I swept it across the high points of Maxie’s face: cheekbones, brow bone, down the nose, décolletage and just a touch on the Cupid’s bow for that glass-skin effect. ✨ For the eyes, I used the ultra-flattering Charlotte Tilbury Luxury Eyeshadow Palette in Bella Sofia. This quad is EVERYTHING for a sultry, warm, glowing eye. I layered the shimmering copper/bronze tone on Maxie’s lids. Studying the Bible helps me every day. I love that mine has four different translations side by side. When I need to understand certain words or parts, I can quickly switch over to another translation on the same page instead of looking it up in my phone. How to get glowing skin with a few different makeup products? Start with a liquid highlighter on the center of the face after skincare. Then apply a full coverage foundation with a few drops of beauty oil. Finish off with a finely milled setting powder, powder blush, bronzer and highlighter. I did a soft wave with a large barrel curling iron. I prefer to do this for outdoor photo shoots because I wanted a wind blown look. Glowing, fresh skin with around seven products! I start by moisturizing Zeyi’s skin with RMS Coconut moisturizer, then I apply Gleam Melanie Mills Body Radiance on the center of her face. From there I put on her base, contour and highlight with a combo of Charlotte Tilbury Airbrush Flawless and Danessa Myricks Vision Cream Cover foundations. The DMB I use to contour and conceal. Then add cream blush, dust bronzer everywhere, lightly set with Airbrush Flawless Setting Powder (a finishing powder works best to keep the complexion fresh) and mist with setting spray. Slow your mornings down and try making your coffee by hand at home. Less plastic, less waste and more opportunity to customize your drink. 💙 I use a French press a kitchen scale from Amazon, and I use a ratio of 40 grams of coffee to 6 or 700 grams of water. Heat the water, pour it over the coffee and put the lid on. After about 4 2, press the top down. I make my own creamer with a bit of half and half plus brown sugar. Whisk it up an pour in your coffee. Done! Delaying your coffee a bit in the morning is good for you, I promise! The Charlotte Tilbury Luxury Palette of Pips Range is insanely beautiful! I like to use these as gleaming, glowy eyeshadow toppers and inner corner highlights. You can also just wear them alone on your life and the shine is investable. Pro tip? Use your fingers to apply this, it just makes the color payoff stronger. In this video is the Dazzling Diamonds palette.
