Comment SHOP and I’ll send you our furniture & planters. Over time I’ve learned our front porch isn’t true full sun. It gets strong morning light and then soft, dappled shade throughout the day, so choosing plants that can handle a little of both has made all the difference.

These are the plants that have been the most forgiving in our planters: Kimberly Queen fern, foxtail fern, ivy, creeping fig, geranium, and diamond frost.

As more plants start arriving at the garden centers this season, I’ll also be adding trailing vinca and wire vine for a little extra movement.

Still learning, still moving plants around… but this mix has worked the best so far.
