Came home from Europe to a full fungus gnat situation… within hours they were everywhere. Around the plants, in the kitchen, just nonstop. If you know, you know.

This takes a multi-step approach:

Start with what’s flying. I’ve used the Zevo plug-ins for years to catch gnats, fruit flies, house flies, even mosquitoes that sneak in.

Treat the source & stop overwatering plants. Let your soil dry out and address it so they stop laying eggs. I’m using a 1:4 hydrogen peroxide to water ration to treat my soil.

DIY trap for the fruity ones. Apple cider vinegar and a drop of Dawn for fruit flies, works every time.

Gotta love living in the South… where the plants thrive and the bugs do too 👀.

Our front porch, planters and decor here. I planted these hydrangeas in Walmart planters and then our viral front porch Ballard planters. Love these chair chairs. They are indoor chairs, but we use them outside with no problem!
