I am still 25lbs away from the mom bod that I want, but right now I’m just praising sweet Jesus that one-pieces are trending, and there are so many precious ones to choose from 🙌🏼. And since I understand that body image can be a sore subject, I’m just gonna go ahead and say my piece. Yes, I am aware that I am not “overweight” by many people’s standards. No, I don’t care if you think I’m annoying or vain for wanting to be skinnier. I am usually lean and athletic by default, but after having four babies in five years and not exercising or eating right, my body isn’t up to the standards that I hold for myself. I do plan on starting some type of exercise regimen at some point. Because I want my toned body and my thigh gap back, and I know I will have to work for it. That’s okay though, because the good things in life don’t usually come easy. Don’t worry, y’all— I promise I know my worth (TRUST ME 👑), and I don’t base it on how much I weigh or how good I look. That being said, here’s a pro tip: confidence is something that looks good on everybody 💁🏽‍♀️. That’s what I’ll be teaching my kiddos because that’s what my momma taught me.
