Crock pot chicken shawarma with shawarma rice & tzatziki sauce made with Greek yogurt 🥒🍅 Love cooking with my mini me 🤍🤍 This one was sooo good & so easy! All I used was my crockpot and my instant pot so very minimimal clean up ✨ INGREDIENTS: Chicken Shawarma marinade •1lb boneless skinless chicken breast •1/3 cup Greek yogurt •2 tablespoon lemon juice •1/2 teaspoon garlic •3 tablespoons New York shuk shawarma seasoning (from sprouts) •1/2 teaspoon cinnamon •1// teaspoon red pepper flakes VEGGIES: 1 sweet onion (chopped) 1 cucumber 4 tomatoes Shawarma Rice- • 1 cup rice •2 cup water •1 tablespoon better than bouillon chicken flavor 1/4 teaspoon turmeric •1 lemon freshly squeezed Tzatziki sauce - •1/4 cup cucumber (thinly sliced) •1/2 cup plain Greek yogurt •1/2 teaspoon minced garlic •1 tablespoon lemon juice • 1 tablespoon fresh dill (finely chopped) •1/4 teaspoon salt •1/4 teaspoon pepper INSTRUCTIONS: 1. Place chicken in a plastic bag or dish and add all marinade ingredients . Place in fridge at least 2-4 hours or overnight. 2. Chop onion and place at bottom of crockpot. Place marinaded chicken on top and set in crockpot on high for 2 hours or low for 4 hours. 3. Soak white rice in water for 10 minutes. Place rice, water and all ingredients for rice in instant pot and set on auto rice mode. 4. Mix together all ingredients for tzatziki sauce. 5. Once chicken Is done, chop it into smaller pieces and it back to the crock pot. 6. serve the chicken on top of the rice topped with cucumber tomatoes, tzatziki and dill. Enjoy!
