This past year I have made a commitment to really stay consistent with my workouts. I have always been and all or nothing kind of girl and that never has been sustainable in the long run. So over the past few months, I set myself up to succeed. Moving my body everyday, implementing a weight training program 4 x’s a week, and looking at my garage gym as more of a sanctuary than a place I had to drag myself to. Some days I would blast Kelsea Ballerini or a book on tape, other days I would chat on the phone or just enjoy the silence. But I showed up! And it feels good! The best part is I’m heading into the new year knowing that this is now a part of my life because I made it work for me and that the essentials I need when life gets crazy can easily come with me anywhere!
