I’ve been plotting a redo of our formal living room for quite some time. It was a mish-mash of furniture from our old home and a few new pieces I needed to purchase to “make it work”. Flash forward 3 years and 1 pandemic year-at-home later and I was dying to switch it up to something a little more subtle, a little more neutral and a little more harmonious with the rest of our home. Here’s my best piece of advice to come out of this project: TAKE YOUR TIME when decorating spaces. It’s hard to live with things “as is” when you know they’re not quite right, but in the end you’ll be much happier and maybe even save yourself from some unnecessary purchases along the way.

Spent the morning exploring Boulder Field — a national historical landmark. Such a cool geological sight to see and a great workout and test of balance 💪🏻 trying to get across the span.
