There is nothing like a porch made for sipping mint juleps, greeting passing neighbors (& getting the latest gossip) & letting time pass while the sound of the kids laughing and riding their bikes fills the background. There’s also the sprinklers, making their tsk tsk tsk sound, and sending the fragrance of damp grass into the air.
