It isn’t always about a budget, even though it doesn’t hurt at times, but the luxe life isn’t always about the things, but about the feeling. They way they feel and the way they make you feel! It’s not just the espresso martini affogoto but also the glass it’s in and the way it feels in your hand. It’s not just plush sheets on your bed but all the pillows that feel like icing on the cake. It’s a crystal chandelier with the lights dimmed and music floating throughout the house. It’s the way a beautiful silk robe feels so light against your skin. It’s a time to put on a pretty dress, wear a pretty bow in our hair, wear sparkly earrings and a smear of shimmering lipstick. It’s a time to make memories and take lots of selfies with the polaroid cameras on the table, watch the candlelight flickering on the faces of our friends and family while we lean in to smell the roses, too. We can retire to the fire and sit with our shoes kicked off and a cozy blanket over our laps while we share stories of the past and dreams for the future.
