Lately I’ve been musing on what actually makes a home feel cozy. I don’t think it’s a particular color palette or decorating style. It’s the glow of a fire at the end of the day. A few candles flickering on the mantel. Branches clipped from outside and dropped into a favorite vase. Books stacked on the coffee table that have actually been read and collected over time. Maybe that’s why I love this room so much. It feels dramatic and beautiful, but also like somewhere you’d curl up and stay awhile.
