It is Monday again. Wishing you all a good day and stay warm! I have been wearing a lot of dark neutrals, casual outfits, and coats/sweaters on repeat these days but I hope you don’t get bored of my looks! I am considering living with a capsule closet for the season. For those who have tried or currently have a capsule wardrobe do you go by Project 333 and have 33 pieces for three months or do you follow your own rules and what is it?

I purchased this Amazfit GTS 2 smart watch about a month ago and wanted to give it some time to review before I made a post. It is the first smart watch I have owned and I chose it over an Apple watch because it was less expensive. I also wasn’t sure if I was going to wear it so I thought it would be a good one to test out.

In terms of style, Amazfit was one of the few that come in beige. I love that it comes in this chic beige tone to match my Cartier bracelet and aesthetic.

I honestly do not exercise much which is the reason I bought it so I could get more motivated to at least get more steps in during the day and remind myself to stand up and walk when I have been sitting for too long.

Amazfit claims the battery lasts 7 days but I only get 5-6 days if I turn off the bluetooth. The bluetooth sucks up so much battery life that if you keep it on, the watch will only last 2 days. So I only turn on the bluetooth at the end up the day so I can update the app with my stats and check the details. The app is called the Zepp app which saves your daily data such as heart rate, SpO2, sleep quality, stress, activities, and more.

When it comes to monitoring your stats, the accuracy it pretty decent but not perfect. I like being able to set a goal of how many steps I would be taking a day. I think the sleep quality monitoring is interesting to analyze because gives you deep sleep, REM, light sleep, and awake information but it is obviously not going to give you perfect results like a sleep study would and you were hooked up with electrodes.

Some additional features are that it can store up to 3GB of music, allows voice assistant and streaming phone calls. Those features drain the battery quicker so I do not use them much. I was disappointed with streaming phone calls because the quality is poor.

Sharing a work outfit I wore this week because I recently bought new pants for work. I have been going through the same work pants on repeat so I thought it was time to add new ones. These taper pants are from @loft and I like how stretchy they are because of the elastic waistband. They are a bit on the thicker side so not the best for summer but if you run cold and work in a chilly office like me, then they are perfect.

Thank you for everyone’s well wishes and understanding on my last post. It warms my heart. I am doing much better now but also don’t want to strain my eyes too much while they heal. If you want to know more, I could do a story about my experience as I had to do a Lasik enhancement.

It has been a rough start to the year but I am keeping myself optimistic. If you have noticed, I don’t post as consistently as I used to because my motivation to use IG has slowed down a bit and life has kept me busy but I am so grateful to those who still stick around instead of follow and unfollow. I don’t plan to stop posting. I just may not post daily like I did last year and stay on IG for as long even though that is their goal with all these algorithm updates.

Enjoying the first weekend of the year at home with the hubby and my little girl. I hope to get more outfit photos with her this year but it is hard in the winter because she does not like the wind. What I do love about winter though is that my pup likes to cuddle since it is cold. She curls up into a little ball right next to me and even under the blankets. It is the cutest! Happy New Year! The first day of the year always feels so fresh. It is the opportunity to start a clean slate. This year, I hope to be more creative and productive. I also hope to be more understanding and generous. Oh, and be more consistent with exercise and eating healthy. 😆

Today’s outfit is loungewear because in reality, my weekends are spent in comfy clothing and it will still be a while before we can go out and travel safely. This hoodie is honestly so warm that I don’t need to layer up! I honestly never thought I would be shopping out @abercrombie because I never used to when I was younger but here I am.
