Real life over here doesn’t look like some perfect, distraction-free moment… but we’re trying to be more intentional about the time we do have together 👇 Sometimes it’s: 🥍 Lacrosse in the yard 🏡 Building forts in their room 💇‍♀️ Sitting down to play dolls and do hair 🤣 Showing off your latest trampoline tricks Nothing fancy. Nothing over-the-top. Just showing up. Because what I’m learning (even with younger kids) is this: 👉 Connection doesn’t have to be big—it just has to be consistent. In a world full of screens, schedules, and distractions… these small moments are what build trust, communication, and that feeling of “home.” And while my kids aren’t teens yet, I know this is the foundation for later—helping them feel: ✔️ Safe ✔️ Heard ✔️ Supported So when those bigger conversations come, they already know I’m here. You don’t need a perfect plan—just a little intention.
