Ah, wintertime, the season that always, and I mean always, finds me looking at my wardrobe for a dopamine hit. Thankfully, I came across a few graphic tees and sweatshirts that felt vintage: colorful, vibey, happy.

What I wore in Brooklyn the other week...my favorite jeans ever and a new oversized bomber jacket I'm in love with💛

I keep these rechargeable hand warmers in my coat pockets at all times. I'm not kidding when I say they heat up in 2 seconds - all the way up to 131°F (they have 3 different temp settings). The charge lasts for 20 hours so I really only charge them once a week. They're super handy for winter walks, errands in the city, and chilly sporting events. They come in 6 different color options too!

After trying on more than two dozen pairs of winter boots for women from brands like Sorel, UGG, The North Face, Pajar, Hunter, Inuikii, Merrell, Laidback London and Mou (and, yes, clomping around my house for days in each), I found 8 pairs I can wholeheartedly recommend. This built in bra camisole is the staple piece of my wardrobe — the one around which most of my outfits revolve. It’s my problem-solving undergarment/bra/base layer that I literally wear on a daily basis.

The Hanro cami is incredibly comfortable, especially since it removes the necessity to wear multiple layers. The bra portion doesn’t pinch on the sides, and the cami adds an extra layer of warmth without adding bulk. So, instead of layering a tank over a bra under my sweaters, I just wear the bra cami.

Something I couldn't leave behind in 2025...my beloved, handwoven leather shoulder bag from Quince. Even after a full year of use, the soft leather looks even better than when I got it and the hardware hasn’t tarnished or chipped!

This bag is an absolute must have - it fits all my essentials plus the crayons, snacks, and toys my kid inevitably hands me. It’s big enough to be functional but small enough to never overwhelm an outfit, the sweet spot for a true everyday shoulder bag.

Still loving the look of the scarf coat? This 100% wool style from Quince is oh so soft and comfy. The double-faced fabric offers a substantial feel without being heavy, making it a great option for everyday wear, almost like a sweater-coat.

This MOTHER style is the most-worn jean in my closet. I keep trying to branch out and keep coming back to these favorites. They're stretchy, comfortable, and it’s so exciting now to have a variety of lengths available.

Some fun and festive looks for new years⭐️⭐️⭐️

While this winter boot may not have, say, full mountaineering performance…I sometimes just need something warm + cute and these boots are IT.

These handmade boots read more fashion boot than winter boot, but are so warm that they’re a pretty decent hybrid of both. Easy to walk in, and comes in a few cute colors.

I’ve always said I would live in hoodies if I could. Everyday looks? A hoodie. Date night? A hoodie. Holiday parties? Honestly…the only thing I want to wear is a hoodie.

And while I probably won’t roll up to an upscale event in one (sigh), discovering this truly luxe Mongolian cashmere hoodie from Quince has been one of the more exciting style moments of my adult life. Finding one that’s affordable? Even better.

Just tried out these stretchy under $100 barrel jeans from Social Threads & they're just as good as I hopped. They fit TTS. I'm 5'3" and wearing a size 28.

Why this outfit really works for winter:

1. Effortless winter warmth. The pieces are warm on their own & layer well without feeling bulky.

2. Perfect proportions! A shorter coat balances wider denim (and even a longer sweater like mine) sooo well.

3. Texture mixing = instant interest. Wool coat + chunky knit sweater + denim + haircalf flats is a combo that isn’t too loud yet still has personality.

4. Color harmony. Camel + chocolate + denim blue + a pop of print is timeless.

Holiday Outfit Inspo: Chocolate brown is obviously having a moment, and I couldn't not try these two skirts the second I saw them. The color feels a little more unexpected than black but still crazy versatile–it works with almost every cozy sweater in my closet. Ok so this little gem of a jacket won out as my actual favorite! I’ve loved my Pippa puffer for a couple of years, but this one might be even beter?! The color is stunning (also comes in black and ivory) and the fit is great. It’s a perfect in-between weight, not too thin not too thick (still packable) and has a little cinch option at the bottom of the jacket so you can stave out the chill if you want.

I'm in the middle of trying on TONS of everyday cute boots for an upcoming post, and these are bubbling up to the top as favorites (and they're on sale!). Love the way they look with jeans and sweaters/coats and they're warm and fuzzy inside. They're on sale at a few retailers (so Nordstrom might price match!) -Linzi

Athleta’s gray flannel puffer jacket is STILL 50% off!!! It's soooo pretty in person. The gray is soft to the touch with a lovely heathered look. When zipped, I can just tuck my cozy sweater inside and it stays put, comfortably.
