Holy cow- it’s officially May 😦😦 I’m still trying to wrap onto the idea we’re almost halfway through the year.

My main resolution for this year was to focus on each month individually rather than have a million resolutions and not do any 🤣 This month, I want to explore my art side more. I use to paint but life got in the way. I would love to pick up that hobby again 👩🏻‍🎨

Throughout this entire time we’ve been in quarantine, Marcus and I have had so much time to finish our home projects. From decorating our bedroom to organizing the pantry (because I’m obsess with having things in place and labeled 🤣), our little home is starting to get more cozier. I remember the first few weeks, we only had one dresser (his) and the mattress on the floor haha! Although I wouldn’t trade those memories for anything, I’m now loving how our home decor is coming along.

2019 has really taught me to stand up for my beliefs, to speak my mind, to not hold back anymore, and to be very transparent with y’all. We’re only in mid March so I guess there’s still a lot more learning for me this year haha 🌟

So to be completely honest and raw, this year has been so hard for me. I’m still jobless, my car seems to be on its final months, and my psoriasis feels like it’s going through a roller coaster. HOWEVER, in the midst of my storm, I’ve been surrounded with such wonderful souls, who give me hope for a better tomorrow 🙏🏼 I hope that whatever storm you’re going through, you can overcome it; just remember, one day at a time 🌈✨
