As a frugal gal, learning how to do my own gel manicures at home has changed my life! I absolutely hate the whole nail salon experience - the time, the money, etc. and LOVE sitting down at the end of a long week with a fun beverage (Strawberry Lemon Poppi at the moment), listening to music, and doing my nails.

The at home kit from Olive and June makes the process SO easy and I can make my own nails look just as good at the salon on my own time.

The whole kit with six polishes costs about the same as two gel manis at the salon so it was an investment well worth it for me!

The pink cardigan is genuinely one of the most comfortable items I’ve ever worn! I will be wearing it nonstop!! And the JEANS!!! I am so picky about jeans and these might just be my perfect style! Super stretchy but also supportive! Size down if you’re between sizes- I wish I had & will probably exchange this for a smaller size.

And of course you can’t go wrong with a festive hat and coordinating scarf this time of year. I’m obsessed!

Absolutely OBSESSED with these plus size linen pants from Anthropologie. I rented them from Nuuly first but loved them so much I had to purchase. They’re the perfect breezy bottoms for hot days when you’re just not feeling shorts. They run big!

I’m also loving high neck tanks! They’re great for those of us with smaller busts. Often, standard tanks are too loose/low cut for me!

If you know me at all you know I’m a frugal girlie. I *do* value having nice/high quality things but I hate wasting money on things I don’t absolutely LOVE.

I remind you of this because you know if I’m sharing higher end or more expensive items it’s because they’re actually worth it! Haha.

I have absolutely fallen in love with this style of jeans and pants from @anthropologie. They definitely cost more than other jeans I’ve worn in the past but I find myself looking forward to every day that I get to wear them!

If you’re pear shaped like me, you’re gonna freak out over this fit & style. I love that the wider leg openings balance out my larger hips.

And as a 5’3” girlie I definitely appreciate the cropped length! If you prefer longer ones, they DO also come in full lengths.

My sweater is so out of my comfort zone but such a fun addition to my wardrobe. TBH I ordered two pairs of jeans and @anthropologie accidentally sent me the sweater instead of one pair of the jeans. I loved it so much I didn’t bother contacting them about the issue. Haha.

I’m normally a budget friendly fashion kind of girlie but over the past few years I’ve started investing in higher quality pieces where it counts. This outfit consists of several of my most expensive items and I love and wear them all soooo much it’s completely worth it. Cost per wear is such an important concept to consider and I’d rather have fewer things that I love than a bunch of things that are just Ok! These pants are perfect for my short girlies! They’re cropped but fit my 5’4” frame perfectly as long pants.

Maybe a controversial opinion but now that I’m in my mid-thirties I just do not care about a trendy vibe. Give me all the classics like this neutral black turtleneck, a great pair of cropped jeans, simple flats, and a headband. I’m good to go!

Sizing note: this top from H&M is only available up to an XXL but it is very oversized. I’m loving their cropped sweaters on my short frame with higher waisted jeans and pants!

If you’re looking to add a few new pieces to your closet that will dramatically increase your outfit options, these are for you.

Fit notes: I would say all items run true to size. I did size up in the satin button down shirt to allow room for my larger arms. The jeans have some stretch and a buttery soft fabric. I went with my usual size for the cardigan for a traditional fit. Size up if you’re looking for an oversized fit.
