Let’s talk vacation planning ✈️ 📝 Do you plan your trip down to every meal and attraction, or do you like to make decisions in the moment, once you’re there?

I didn’t used to put together detailed plans for trips, but then I realized how precious that time away is, and how much I wanted to make sure I’m maximizing it. Whether it’s visiting a bar across the Chao Praya at sunset or timing lunch for the end of a tour at the Jim Thompson House, I like to put in the research and know that I have an optimal plan. Even if we stray from it, at least I’ve done the research to know what our options are!

I posted my stay on Koh Samet, Thailand last month, and later this spring I’ll finish updating my Bangkok travel guide. And of course we’re headed to Puerto Rico next week, so stay tuned for a recap of that trip too!
