STEAKHOUSE AT HOME🖤 carrot recipe: • bring pot of water to a boil • boil large carrots (I get the big organic ones) • in a mixing bowl, mix 1/2 cup brown sugar, 1 tbsp honey, 2oz bourbon, 1/2 lemon juice, zest of a lemon, + dash of cinnamon.. keep adding brown sugar until the mixture is a glazey consistency • once softened, move to oiled skillet (on low temp) + pour glaze on top salad recipe: • cook bacon until crispy • combine 1/3 cup blue cheese, 1/4 cup buttermilk, 1/4 cup sour cream, 2-3 tbsp mayo, 1 tbsp white wine vinegar, salt and pepper in mixer + blend • cut wedge pieces of iceberg and top with thinly sliced red onion, chopped cherry tomatoes, chopped bacon, blue cheese crumbles and the dressing from the mixer steak recipe: • get your steak room temp (so let it sit out of fridge for like 30 min before cooking) • season with flaky salt and pepper both sides • heat cast iron with high quality olive oil (linked our fav) • lay steak flat + sear on both sides for 4 min each side (for medium rare) or to desired temp • turn off heat + add grass fed butter, rosemary, thyme and garlic cloves to pan • baste steak with melted butter • remove from pan and let rest for 10 min before cutting into GROCERY LIST: • steak (we prefer ribeye or ny strip but used tbone here) • olive oil • grass fed butter • fresh rosemary • fresh thyme • fresh garlic cloves • flaky salt • pepper •iceberg lettuce • cherry tomatoes • blue cheese crumbles • sour cream • buttermilk • purple onion • bacon • lemons • bourbon • brown sugar • cinnamon • large carrots • honey • mayo • white vinegar ENJOY! 👩🏻🍳 dinner ideas Steak at home Dinner at home Recipe ideas LTKHome LTKHoliday
