Western style seems to be here for the fall, and I’m here for it. I’ve been calling it Montana chic, and whether it’s quilted, crocheted, fringed or just beautifully patterned, I’m loving western flair and beautiful indigenous-inspired patterns in modern silhouettes. The way to make these looks culturally respectful and not costume-y or exploitative is to edit; a solo bold pattern speaks for itself and doesn’t need repetition. These are some of my favorite western looks for the fall. The two I purchased are the @ba-sh Mystic dress and # @freepeople Home On the Range cardigan (both are moving quickly and in limited sizes), both of which I feel will be totally wearable beyond a particular trend. ba-sh freepeople seany shopbop anthropologie southwest western quilted LTKSeasonal LTKbacktoschool LTKstyletip
