I get asked a lot what to wear in Mexico City and while it really depends on your plans and schedule. These are some outfits I’d wear and have worn when I’m there (as a local) think family, friends, appointments, shopping etc

Quick stop at Zara and couldn’t help but try these on! Ended up getting the brown rain jacket and blue pin stripe blazer both in small

Shades of grey 🌚 these jeans are a couple years old but it’s the classic 501 straight leg from @levi - so linked some grey/black wash styles I love and my little sweater/vest from @Zara is perfect for the upcoming months. Can layer or wear on its own. And these Prada loafers are 10000% worth the splurge!

Finally found my wide leg track pants in animal print! I think they run a tad big, wearing a size small and it’s pretty loose but I’m just going to keep them. I’m 5’4 and I think I could pull off a low heel with these too

Looks Que uso en México 🇲🇽🧳siento que nunca comparto lo que empaco jajaja así que aquí te va una selection de outfits que usó en CDMX para ver familia, amigos, citas, etc // 🧳What I pack/wear in Mexico City (in August) for family, appointments, friends etc. as a local so maybe different to tourist style. It’s funny how I’ve never shared what I pack/wear for Mexico City 🇲🇽 (apart from my ootd) but I guess we all tend to do that with our hometowns lol. Mexico City has a unique and tricky, 0% humidity, sunny or rainy (no one knows) weather, and does not stick to normal season patterns; this summer has been even more rainy than normal and chilly. It’s definitely a place you NEED to check the weather for the week before packing and even then pack some wildcards.
I personally love that I get a break from the Texas heat and can wear my coats and boots lol but you never know what you’re going to get
