Walked to Brazil before spending my first day deep in the Rupununi of Guyana. Learning from Uncle Morris about the Mukuru plant and eating a camp roasted lunch was just the start of a great day. I loved getting to know some of my media trip peers while going deeper and deeper into the Rupununi savanna, watching giant termite hills and rugged landscape roll by the window. Saw a stunning rainbow, too! Highlight was jumping out at happy hour for a swim and beer before heading to Saddle Mountain Ranch for the evening where I stuffed my face with the best food ever.
