Family road trip essentials 🚘

These are 8 things I actually pack, use and bring along when we’re traveling with our 3 boys:

Soft-sided cooler — easy to load up with drinks and snacks and carry into the hotel, beach, pool or wherever the day takes us.

Portable charger — because between phones and devices, someone is always running low on battery.

Stain remover wipes — for spills in the car, restaurant mishaps and the inevitable stain five minutes after putting on a clean shirt.

Packing cubes — everyone’s clothes stay separated and organized, and they make unpacking at the hotel so much easier.

Foldable laundry hamper — dirty clothes go straight in one place instead of ending up all over the hotel room or mixed back in with the clean clothes.

Owala water bottles — everyone has their own, they stay cold all day, and we refill them instead of constantly buying drinks.

Travel snack boxes — I fill them with a mix of snacks before we leave so everyone has their own and I’m not passing snacks around the car for hours.

Waterproof UNO — easy to throw in our bag for the pool, beach, hotel room or restaurants when everyone needs something to do that doesn’t involve a screen.
