BOTH 5 STARS. Both emotional and heart-wrenching. I haven't been this emotional over books in a while, and I literally can't stop thinking about these two books. The pace for the book starts out a little slow, but I found myself fully vested and not able to put the book down as I read more. Confidence is written in the POV of Salem, the FMC. Resurrection is written in a dual POV of both Salem and Thayer (MMC). I also LOVED the short chapters. Micalea is def an auto-buy author for me now after reading these books! The spice is good for those who read for spice, but this book is just so much more than that. 100% a character-driven book that made me fall in love with all the characters even the supporting ones. I just love Salem and Thayer so much!
