Hello again! 🥰 Life’s been doing the most and with an iron deficiency it’s been exhausting. I found out my iron was at the lowest it’s ever been and the only change has been my uptake in matcha lattes 😭. While matcha is packed with antioxidants and has amazing health benefits, it’s important to remember that it can also inhibit iron absorption. Mind you I was taking my supplements with my morning matcha 🤦🏾‍♀️ It’s recommended to have your matcha a few hours before or after having iron rich foods/supplements.
