I’ve now taken the Getaway 20” Carry-On Suitcase on two very different trips, and I’m honestly impressed by how well it performed.

Quick take: it’s sleek, organized, durable, and the perfect size for carry-on and business travelers.

Here’s how I tested it out:

🧳 Trip 1: Transporting Breakables
I brought two glass lamps wrapped in Styrofoam from Louisville to my Airbnb in El Salvador. The suitcase (even before expanding) had more space than others I’ve used. I expanded it to fit a few personal items on top, and everything arrived perfectly intact—nothing shifted or cracked in transit. That gave me a ton of confidence in the structure.

💼 Trip 2: Business Trip to NYC
I packed four days' worth of conference outfits plus a floor-length gown—and still had space to spare. I rolled it through carpeted airports with no issues (the spinner wheels are so smooth!), and it looked polished enough to bring into lounges and business events.

Loving my new reusable water bottle @stanley_brand The Aerolight Iceflow 24oz Bottle!

Long time Travel Fashion Girl readers know that I drink so much water that a reusable water bottle is an absolute must for me when I travel. I recently took my Stanley Aerolight Iceflow on my trip to Los Angeles. From the airport to the plane and from Disneyland to the long drives around the city, it’s quickly become my all-time favorite water bottle!

My previous travel water bottles have all been around 18oz, which never seemed like enough water to quench my thirst. The 24oz size was the perfect upgrade.

I was initially worried the bottle would be too large and cumbersome, but it comfortably fits in the narrow backpack that I use as both a personal item and daypack. It takes up minimal space, but gives me maximum water, and the design is lightweight and slim enough that I can carry it comfortably in my hand.

I’ve never had a water bottle with a built-in handle, and this feature alone makes the bottle worthwhile. As a frequent flier who also travels with a toddler, I need all items to be as practical as possible without worrying about things falling everywhere and this bottle really ticked all the boxes for me.

As a plus, the bottle’s wide opening and uncomplicated cap lid makes it super easy to clean on the go, too. (They have other lid options including the Flip Straw or Fast Flow Lid.)

I can officially add this item to my 2024 list of travel must haves!
