Get to Know Me Monday… and meet the newest member of our chaos. We didn’t plan on adding a kitten to the mix in the middle of campaigns, school runs, and everyday life… but you know me by now. If there’s a plate spinning, I’m probably adding two more. Everyone, this is Maxxi Bean. She’s a tiny, all-black baby we’ve had for less than two weeks, and she came to us a little feral and a lot unsure. Now? She’s fully committed to snuggling, purring, playing, and inserting herself into every moment. Little C had been wishing for a black kitten he could name Maxwell… so when this little girl showed up, he said, “this is him,” and honestly, we’re rolling with it. So yes, Maxxi Bean is a she… but in this house she happily answers to Max, Maxxi, Bean, and “my baby.” She’s settling so beautifully, already attached to Little C, and we’ve been learning all the new-kitten things together. And today’s little milestone — playing, exploring, and opening up — meant everything. Just a reminder that life doesn’t always go the way you planned… sometimes it goes better.
