One of my go to dresses for pregnancy is this tired dress. I was lucky enough to be gifted three versions of this dress so I have the sleeveless, the regular long sleeve and this one the asymmetric version. I wore a very similar outfit last year but it was the standard version. As you know my number one rule with style is never ever repeat the exact same outfit twice so I always apply variations if I feel a particular formula worked.

Feeling so blessed to be reaching the end of the second trimester. It has been a bliss, specially after an awful first trimester full of nausea and exhaustion. Of course having been through all of it before has helped to make it all smooth and wonderful. By this stage when I was pregnant with Olivia I had the feeling I couldn’t take it for much longer, however not feeling that way now makes me full of hope that this summer might be a good one.

At least a good 80% of spring dresses are pregnancy friendly, maybe more. I am delighted to be able to wear most of my wardrobe this pregnancy as opposed to when I was expecting Olivia, that was really a struggle. Call me crazy but I’ll take a warm weather pregnancy over a cold weather one any day!

Going full @therow today. These trousers/leggings are part of my non maternity pregnancy essentials. So comfortable and versatile. I have always worn these with wide tops as I really love the contrast it creates. Today was specially hard to pick one because the bump is getting quite big, may not look so in the pictures but I do look more pregnant in real life trust me!

Getting bigger and bigger 🐣
Today I’m featuring a full navy blue outfit in one of my everyday trousers wearing as usual my maternity waist extender. As you can see I wear it at least 4 days a week, for two pregnancies that is a lot! Haven’t done the maths yet to see the cost per wear but I bet it is as low as it gets. My trousers are matched with a super oversized sweater I got when Olivia was a baby and first thing I though when I got it was where were you when I was pregnant, this is the best non maternity, maternity sweater! There are so many regular clothes perfect for maternity, you just have to keep your eyes wide open!

@therow trousers that keep on giving even when pregnant. I know they are pricey but honestly such a great investment. You can literally wear them in all stages of your life and they will probably die with you, that’s how good they are. I have three pairs that I have been wearing non stop this pregnancy (these being one of them) and oh how I wish I had them when I was pregnant with Olivia, but I got them all short after.

A knit set is a pregnancy must, so comfortable and easy to wear and you can wear it before and after. It is also great for breastfeeding so if you are pregnant and are thinking of investing on some clothes this type of garment might be a sure bet as it will last long after you deliver.

The one print garment I have (other than stripes). This picture is from some weeks ago and as you can see the print camouflages the bump and makes it look quite smaller. That pointed out, a similar outfit might work if you are in your first trimester trying to get your tiny bump unnoticed.

This skirt I am wearing is one of the first skirts I added to my collection and I actually wore it pregnant with Olivia too so of course I had to wear it again this pregnancy. The key to wearing this type of skirts is zipping as much as it allows and the bump holds it in place.

Tropical days are our kind of days! Starting this super long weekend back at our happy place. Sharing some pictures from last time we were here. Bump is barely visible in these pictures but trust me very much pregnant there at nineteen weeks. I did pop much earlier this time but this outfit is just doing a great job at hiding it! Matching my big girl in neutral colors but keeping those beach vibes alive 🌴

The last few days it’s been tricky to dress for. The weather is not as warm as before and the wind has been going crazy on us, so I’ve taken a step back on all my spring essentials. A knit dress is a maternity must have that tops my list of comfortable garments to wear. It’s a no brainer and this particular piece being a cardigan dress will be perfect for breastfeeding days too. This ensemble is what I believe to be the perfect first trimester outfit. Ideal for those days when you have a small bump you need to hide because you can’t share the news just yet.
Can you tell I am pregnant? No you can’t. The oversized shape of the jacket hides the pregnancy (not that I wanted to in this case) but it’s quite interesting to see how even at this stage some garments will keep the bump hidden.
Once again I am wearing a maternity clothes extender to wear my good old Stella trousers.

Is it possible to wear your regular jeans in the second half of your pregnancy? Of course it is! I am wearing a good old pair of mine that I’ve had for years. The secret is a maternity belly band (aka wait extender). I’ve been wearing them since the beggining of my pregnancy and wore it the whole of my previous one. You can get them online for nothing and they are the best investment you can make. The only downside is you must wear them with longer tops that cover your hips but other than that you are good to go!

Beyond grateful to share with you that our family is growing! What a gift to experience motherhood once again this time with my daughter (and husband of course) by my side. A true blessing it has been to have my big girl be part of this pregnancy at her age fully capable of understanding what is happening and being the most exited party of this adventure. We can’t wait for summer to meet mini me number two and see Olivia take on some big sister duties!
