I was on the hunt for something unique to hold my Christmas tree this year. How cool is this vintage looking stand?! It’s metal, sturdy and solid. My tree will not be tipping over. Two color options — mine is the bronze. My new twinkle tree looks so lovely in it! I’ll be decorating it with gold, silver and bits of burgundy this year.

I brought my stag bowl out this week. Nothing in it yet, but it sure is pretty just sitting by my fireplace. I love it for winter and the holidays! Nice size for floor or table.

My seven foot skinny trees are my favorite holiday item and what I bring out first. I don’t decorate these; they’re classy, elegant and beautiful with just the lights. These trees have been in my past three homes. I’m so glad they keep coming back for the holidays!

You can make a door swag with any long holiday stem. I prefer cedar, but if Norfolk is your jam, that works too. Add your favorite ribbon and a couple ornaments or a bell strand. It’s an easy way to add holiday charm to your home.

Toss, fluff, repeat — typically five or six times on my sofa for throw pillows. I love a mix of solid, floral, plaid or stripe, plus a whimsical, seasonal pillow like this cute, wool pumpkin for fall. Pick the same color tones and mix your fabrics — textured, velvet, linen. My size preference for sofas is 20x20 and lumbar. Use down inserts 1-2 inches larger for a nice fluffy pillow. How gorgeous are these throw blankets for fall?! Both are so soft and cozy!

A cozy bed is a must for me. The key to getting that look is layering. My base is typically white; I add neutrals or seasonal color with quilts, throws and pillows. I don’t take all of the non-sleeping layers off at night. I just fold them back to the foot of the bed. As temps lower, I use more of the layers for sleeping.

My bedding is a mix of designer and Amazon. This velvet quilt is so soft and the prettiest green. The color is great for fall and the holidays. I just swap my floral accent pillows for holiday ones. I’ve linked an Amazon velvet quilt that’s beautiful as well.
