Build a foundation of "high-low" contrast. The magic of casual elegance lies in the intentional tension between refined and rustic.

STYLE TIPS:
▫️Neutral Base — Start with a base of creamy whites, warm taupes, dove grays or soft, sand tones.
▫️Add Mixed Architectural Details — Think crown and wall moulding, wainscoting, character grade wood flooring, rustic beams and/or vintage doors.
▫️Mix Refined and Rustic — Pair an elegant, plush velvet sofa with a well-worn, rustic wooden side table.
▫️Elevate Ordinary Details — Use formal design choices in an informal way. i.e. Pair high-end furniture with handmade, artisan pottery.
▫️Use Timeless Hues — Introduce color with sophisticated, timeless hues.
