I’ve never had so many replies to Monday’s story with this high kick, I never thought I'd be able to do this one day (I couldn’t even believe it and surprised myself 😹 proof that you can do it if you really want as says Ariana Grande “I want it I got it” (so into her songs atm!!))! You can’t even imagine how happy, free and light I feel after that! It’s a good way to cheer me up and express what I don’t know how to say with words and a good stress relief much needed after and these past few weeks... Weirdly not so weirdly, each time I hit the punching, the hit part of my head feels so uncomfortable and reminds me unforgettable things I’d like to forget. Who would dare to face me?! 😈 I’m veeeeery far from being a fearless boxer but after months, I wanted to start again and took a boxing class yesterday! I fought against my fear of getting hit in the head and felt SO good after that!! You can't even imagine how much relief it feels to hit strongly a punching bag... Since a little more than 5 years my every day life is a real struggle I don’t look like something happened so people think I’m doing great because I’m a smiling girl all day long. If I tell you what happened then I scare you. If I refused an invitation because I’m tired because of the brain injury: whether you’re not trusting me or you’re giving up on me. If I’m lining up and ask to pass the line, I get insulted. My head hurts when it’s cold. And so on... The grey (everyday) sky and cold temperatures are not helping at all! I need some sun and warm anything vibes! I sometimes feel lower or weaker than anyone else as I couldn’t finish the life plan I had in mind because of the brain injury and it’s consequences. The only struggle I can have is to not giving up on the squat reps (or what rep ever! 🥵) This is one of the reasons why I love working out, I feel so free, nothing is bothering me and forget all about the negatives effects caused by brain injury and remind me that maybe I’m not like you but as said Coco Chanel: “in order to be irreplaceable, one must always be different.” However when someone is too different in its own way, people are afraid and don’t take time to appreciate him/her. Get rid of toxic people and surround yourself with the best of the best friends and family you have. So grateful because I have them. 💪🏻💘
