diy button pin brooches ♥️ this would be such a cute + easy way to spice up a valentines/galentines day outfit! The holes on the heart buttons lined up perfectly with the holes on these 0.75 inch pin backs (pretty sure I bought those back in 2016 or 2017 when enamel pins were trending 💀) so I just used some embroidery thread to sew them on. I figured that was a better option than glue in case I want to reuse the buttons for another project later. the outfit was from cider (use c0de “WELLERMEGS15” for 15% off!) the boots were from Dreampairs, and the buttons were from Amazon. here’s what I actually wore for Valentines Day last night - dress is vintage American Apparel (size small for reference) I made the necklace + added ribbon around the waist. Highly recommend the puff sticky bra under stuff like this. I really need to start getting ready earlier so I can take better pictures 😅 but it was fun!
