1. Costumes are out all year. Because if they’re going to dress like a dinosaur, I’d rather it not involve dragging out bins or having to rummage through a closet. 2. As they’ve gotten older, I ask for their input on toys to be donated and involve them in the process. If they’re not sure, we have a system and an expiration date. 3. I organize zero of my husband’s stuff. I’d rather use that energy on other things. 4. I ignore most organizing “rules” and build systems around how we actually live. It might not be everyone’s cup of tea, but it works for our family and more importantly, it’s helped me feel less like I’m managing a 🎪 24/7. I’m not handling everything for everyone anymore, and the house doesn’t drive me nearly as crazy as it used to. LTKHome LTKmomlife LTKdayinmylife
