The stretchy upper material is made from recyclable water-repellent wool yarn with an anti-slip and carbon-free rubber outsole. The shaft height is 23 inches as measured from size 7 (EU 38) and for size reference I'm 5' 2.5". My usual size runs big (my larger foot is 9.25 inches) but it's comfortable with thicker socks leaving enough wiggle room for my toes. The shaft fits well for thin/narrow calves. The material has a lot of stretch since I can easily reach inside to adjust and smooth my jeans or leggings if they bunched up while putting on the boots.
