Can’t believe Christmas is over...I’m still battling somewhat of a cold but I’m happy. Did you know that has been my first Christmas celebrating in 60 degree weather ever since moving to Chicago?! Just a few weeks left and 2019 is coming to an end and I can’t help but feel some sort of anxiety and yet I’m relentless. This year my perfectionism has nearly driven me to insanity. Ever since I was a child at school, I’d show up, take on more than I should and work, work, work. This year had its lows and highs but one thing remained : My fearless pursuit of what puts my soul on fire. I’m proud of that. But I must admit, my friends, part of me is burnt out. Perhaps I need a little break and come back stronger than ever in 2020 because overall that’s what my heart is telling me to do. Because what would life be if there’s was passion, no fire?!

It was such joy to slip into a cozy, oversized sweater and a pair of sneakers this past weekend. I wasn’t kidding when I told you I’m recently infatuated with oversized knits. It’s like my security blanket these days. I’m staying cozy and warm, believing in the fact that everything’s going to be OK.
