Nothing makes the house feel like autumn quite like a simmer pot 🍎🍂🤎

I usually measure everything with my heart, but here’s a general recipe to follow:

1 apple, sliced
1 orange, sliced
2–3 cinnamon sticks
1 tbsp whole cloves
1 tbsp anise
a few sprigs of rosemary
1 tbsp vanilla extract
enough water to cover everything

Add everything to your pot, bring it to a gentle simmer, and add more water as needed. Your whole home will smell so cozy and welcoming. ☺️

#ad A few fall porch favorites that made this space feel ready for the season 🤎🍂 This year I wanted to keep things a little more low maintenance, so I chose faux plants that will look beautiful and last all season long.

I love the traditional fall colors in the wreath, the burgundy boxwoods that are so popular this season, and the incredibly realistic faux pine trees that I’ll be able to transition right into winter.

Finished it all off with a classic welcome mat that works beautifully year round.
