By wholisticgal

Non- toxic baby products from pregnancy to postpartum to babies. Clean, organic products

Okay… this balm? It’s actual magic in a bottle. No exaggeration.
This is the Motherlove Everyday Balm and I use it for EVERYTHING—baby’s diaper area, dry patches, scrapes, chapped lips, even our hair and scalp. It’s packed with pure organic herbs that actually heal, soothe, and restore.

If you’re a mama who needs one product that does it all—this is it. I linked it for you.

I’ve never shared this brand publicly before, but I’ve quietly used them for almost 6 years… and today I finally get to partner with them. 🥹💛

Motherlove sent over their Baby Care Box and y’all… this is exactly the type of clean, herbal, organic care our babies deserve. No toxins. No artificial fragrances. No mystery ingredients. Just plants, simplicity, and products made with intention.

Here’s what was inside ⬇️
🌿 Diaper Balm — gentle, effective + my holy grail for redness
🌿 Everyday Balm — multipurpose moisture for cheeks, dry spots + irritations
🌿 Baby Calming Balm + Knee Balm — for bumps, bruises + little soothing moments
🌿 Baby Castile Soap — clean + simple for newborn skin
🌿 Green Salve — herbal repair for scratches + bites
🌿 Birth & Baby Oil — perineal prep, postpartum healing + baby massage rituals

And listen mamas…
We are DONE with the toxic “baby” products that do more harm than good.
Our babies deserve the world — gentle, safe, clean care. 🌱✨

That’s why this partnership feels so full-circle. I’ve relied on these products for years, and now I get to share them with a community of women who care just as deeply about what goes on their babies’ skin.

Did you know that what you put in and on your body is in pregnancy and postpartum is extremely important? I know it may seem very ‘new age ish’ all this talk around organic foods, toxic-free, natural living, etc, but it was how our ancestors lived, regardless of your background, ethnicity, or race. Creating and feeding (breastfeeding) a baby is hard work and what we moms consume whether topically or internally is IMPORTANT! Literally can’t stress it enough

It’s for the same reason why when pregnant/breastfeeding, so many things are off-limit or reduced that would be fine prior. Toxins and harmful chemicals can cross into the placenta and the baby’s bloodstream. Studies have even shown that some newborn babies are positive for so many different kinds of chemicals, and toxins in their blood, that were def passed on during pregnancy.

This is not to scare or judge, but just the reality and I’m just trying to spread awareness. Whether you’re a mom, planning to be a mom or know someone that’s a mom, this can be beneficial for you.

As a nutritionist, I can’t help but read labels, like y’all I read the labels of everything! And I encourage you to do the same. If you can’t pronounce it, if it’s not naturally made or derived, not a natural ingredient, then it’s probably not good.

Everything from diapers, lotions, creams, shampoos, food, toothpaste, face wash, sanitary pads, dish soap, laundry soap etc etc. This is a huge rabbit hole, but let’s start small. I’ll share some of my favorite non-toxic brands for babies, and this will be an ongoing post. There are so many categories to dive into, but let’s start here. It’s not a race y’all, start small with what you have and what you know. Clean, simple, natural living isn’t complicated and doesn’t have to be.

NB: If it’s not safe to use while pregnant/breastfeeding, it’s probably still not safe to use afterward. If it’s not good for your baby’s health, why should it be good for yours?

If you’re looking for a truly clean, gentle, and fragrance-free lotion that’s safe for sensitive skin, babies, and even postpartum mamas, this is one of my top recommendations 🤍

I’ve been using the Babo Botanicals Sensitive Skin Fragrance-Free Daily Hydra Lotion for myself and my little one — and it’s become a staple in our holistic skincare routine. 🌸 It’s made with:
	•	Colloidal oatmeal to soothe irritated skin
	•	Organic calendula and aloe vera to hydrate and calm
	•	Zero fragrance, phthalates, parabens, or harsh chemicals ✅

Perfect for:
✨ Eczema-prone skin
✨ Non-toxic baby skincare
✨ Sensitive postpartum body care
✨ Dry winter skin

As a holistic mama, I always try to keep our products plant-based, dermatologist-tested, cruelty-free, and safe for the whole family — and this one checks all the boxes 💚

I linked it in my LTK shop so you can grab it for your clean skincare cabinet.
