My beautiful MIL guessed our birthday gift before opening it! She said “I think I know what this is. It’s kind of heavy. I think when we were in Newport and went into that store that smelled so good I saw you take out your phone (jason then said she’s like a hawk🤣)and I don’t know if you took a picture or wrote it down but I think it’s something from there not that I thought you would get it for me but just so you would know in case you wanted it”

All I can say is she nailed it and this scent is 10/10! Love the packaging and it looks so luxe!

Here’s a very helpful takeaway from my own bridal experience that has helped my bridal clients and I want to share it with you!

Listen and become aware of your thoughts and how you are speaking to others about your special day. It is very easy to let the limiting beliefs and the negative self talk spiral out of control and it does not help at all when you are listening to the limiting beliefs of others. Always remember this is YOUR day not theirs.

Witness how you are speaking about your planning and start to jot these thoughts down in your journal or in the note section of your phone because this will help you realize the pressure you are putting on yourself and create awareness about it. Once you witness and recognize a pattern here you can reframe how you are thinking by creating new thoughts and beliefs.

For example, if you keep thinking how stressed and overwhelmed you are you will continue to bring more of those types of thoughts and feelings into your mind and into your experience. So start telling a new story by reframing it by saying to yourself...”wedding planning is so fun and everything is falling into place”. This will help you feel more calm, more at ease, and have fun!

I was always the shy girl

I always sat in the back of the classroom

I never raised my hand

I actually dreaded getting called on due to fear of not knowing how to answer the question

I told myself I was the shy girl for far too long because it kept me playing small and people wouldn’t expect too much of me

I pulled the safety card time and time again

I was diminishing my own potential without realizing it

What I have learned to be true is our most authentic self is inside of us wanting to reveal herself to the world but we are not allowing her to be seen due to fear of judgement or doing something wrong

We are already whole and it’s our responsibility to see ourselves whole and let go of the stories and beliefs that are replaying in our minds telling us we are not
