Important skin prep I do before glam to have my makeup stay on nicely and all day! Read below 👇🏽

I constantly get asked “how does your makeup look natural but translate so well on camera” “how does your makeup not look cakey but you have so many steps” “how does your makeup last so long” while there’s a few things I do in the entire process of it, it starts with this one…
DO YOUR SKINCARE BEFORE MAKEUP.

• add hydrating products to your skin prior to application

• do not rush the application of your skincare. Allow time for each to be absorbed into the skin (a few minutes in between each one. I like doing things around the house in between applying some)

• let it all absorb on your face for a bit BEFORE applying makeup. (I always start with the eyes on makeup application to continue to allow the skincare to continue to settle before layering makeup on it)

• & most importantly, a little goes a long way. The whole serum bottle doesn’t need to be on your face 🤍

I have been obsessed with Josie Maran’s body butter for YEARS. But this relaunch, rebrand, repackaging is just magical. The scents, the containers, the refill pouches. The formula? Still the same because it’s perfect.

I have been obsessed with unscented initially, then apricot vanilla, and most recently topless tangerine. OMG, does it smell and feel amazing.

Skincare, prep before Makeup is so important! It can literally make or break your make up. I got a lot of compliments on how my make up looks all the time, but to be honest, I think it has to do with me never skipping a good skin care application before putting on make up.

If you’re not a make up, girly then, hey, don’t worry this is a great skin care, glory, prep to have you set for the rest of the day. The only thing I would add to this is probably SPF, but besides that you’re good to go!

Skincare morning prep before Pilates. I love the Clarins double serum and how Korean skincare is made so well to be able to stack on top of each other for the ultimate glass skin. I’ve been obsessed with ma:nyo lately. They went viral on tiktok for their cleansing oil but these ampoule’s are sooo good and the moisturizer is extremely hydrating and gives you the glow you want. This eye cream from glow recipe really helped lightened my under eyes when I was using it religiously. I had ran out but got a new one! I also really love this glow recipe sunscreen because I was told by an aesthetician that it’s the only one she’s noticed that doesn’t clog pores like most do but to still put a little bit and spread it out.

Morning skin care cocktail or skincare routine. I love this to prep and gives my skin a glow!! Even though I self tan obviously I wash my face a lot so to keep my face matching my body. I do a few tanning drops either in the morning or at night at the end of my skin care routine I by mixing it with my moisturizer. if you know me, I am obsessed with this naturium glow moisturizer. I have used so many self tanners in my time and this is the only self tanner drops that do not break out my skin so if you have sensitive or combination skin, I suggest you give it a try!
