Might never get over this transformation. We were stumped for MONTHS on how to layout this tiny room, mostly because we couldn’t agree on the window. (To keep or not to keep? That was the question!) I’m glad Scott won this round, because with a few tweaks, I was able to convince him that the window would make much more sense in a U-shaped layout. Whew! TLDR, remember this: If you’re embarking on a renovation or makeover, large or small, if something doesn’t quite feel right, it just means you haven’t found the solution yet! And if we’ve learned anything from renovating for over a decade, it’s that slow and steady wins the race. Take your time, sketch every idea imaginable, play with colors and patterns, and keep playing until you get that excited feeling in your bones.
