This summer I’ve basically been living in a rotation of the same core pieces, just remixed: a striped crossover knit top (my most-worn item, hands down), white wide-leg trousers that go with everything, a sage green button-front vest for when I want “put together” without trying, and a satin pink midi skirt for the days I need a little more polish. One straw clutch does double duty from desk to dinner, and white ballet flats or mules round it out depending on how much walking I’m doing.

Nothing fancy — just pieces that mix and match so getting dressed isn’t its own task before 9am.
