Designing a moody sitting room always starts with a plan. Before choosing furniture, paint colors, or decor, I like to map everything out visually so the space feels intentional, layered, and cohesive. In this room, the goal was to create a moody, cozy atmosphere using deeper tones, warm textures, and balanced lighting while still keeping the space inviting. In this reel I’m showing part of my design process — how I start building a room concept, test colors and textures, and visualize how furniture and lighting will work together before anything is purchased. This step is what helps avoid expensive design mistakes and makes the final space feel thoughtfully designed instead of randomly decorated. If you love learning about interior design, mood boards, color palettes, furniture placement, and how designers actually plan a room, follow along. I share the real design process behind creating cozy, timeless spaces. Comment “room” for links and to learn how to create mood boards before you buy.
