Waiting for guests to arrive and suddenly noticing everything. Tonight it was the kitchen chandelier. Five minutes before company shows up… and somehow that becomes the thing that has to be cleaned right now. Living in the Charlotte area, I see this all the time — we don’t clean because our homes aren’t beautiful, we clean because we care about how our spaces feel when people walk in. That’s the heart of good home design: creating a space that feels welcoming, comfortable, and lived-in — not perfect. So now I’m curious: what’s the most random thing you’ve cleaned right before guests arrived? Comment “shop” for links ⸻ charlotteinteriordesigner cozyhome homedesign interiordesignlife charlottenc
