We’re getting the backyard ready to host our first Spring garden party!

The upper terrace on our property gets slammed with a ton of sunlight. And because of that, we’ve always known we wanted to find a plant that could handle the heat (and also vine along the stucco walls). Enter: the Lady Banks rose.

To keep with the “villa”-feel of our property, we planted Lady Banks roses in 3 large antique clay terracotta pots (we sourced the roses locally from a nursery but linked to the exact same plant from Home Depot).

how we give ourselves a mini facial at-home

1) start with with an AHA/BHA mask
2) hydrate with a colloidal oatmeal toner
3) add even immediate more hydration with a pure Hyaluronic acid serum
4) lock in with a lightweight oil-based serum or moisturizer

This is my favorite way to make a Manhattan — served in an ice-cold cocktail coupe glass from the freezer 🙃

I always make a Manhattan with Rye Whiskey (Bulleit is a fav) but if you prefer a sweeter route, you can substitute Bourbon. For the sweet vermouth, you can never go wrong with Dolin. And the cherry on top (literally) should normally be brandied, but I typically opt for Amerana Cherries in Syrup — they taste incredible!

The new additions to our dining room are *almost* convincing us to stop eating dinner at the coffee table 🫣🫣

One thing is certain though, the vision for our dining room is finally taking shape (nearly a year later😅😑). We love how this Beasley Round Dining Table with sculptural legs in sungkai wood & modern chandelier, the Talley Chandelier, from Lulu and Georgia perfectly complement our 140 year old ladder back dining chairs from France.

From the moment we settled on Palm from Farrow and Ball as the paint color for the guest room, I knew I wanted to add these green curtains from Nordic Knots (The Grand in Eau De Nil) to further play up the color drench of the entire room.
