Day 2 of my 30-day declutter, clean, and organize challenge and I’m finally tackling cord organization.
With all the new Christmas toys, chargers, and random cables, it felt like the perfect time to reset this drawer. I dumped everything out, kept what we actually use, labeled what matters, and created a simple system that makes everyday life easier. Decluttering doesn’t always mean big clean-outs. Sometimes it’s organizing the small things that quietly add stress. One drawer. One realistic reset.

This Pomegranate Balsamic Glow Salad might just be the prettiest (and tastiest) thing I’ve made all fall. 💕🥗
Sweet pops of pomegranate, creamy feta, and that glossy balsamic drizzle.

Ingredients
• 2 cups chopped kale (massage with a tiny bit of EVOO + pinch of salt, 30 sec)
• 1 cup arugula or baby spinach
• Roasted sweet potatoes (1 large)
• ½ cup pomegranate seeds
• 1 avocado, diced
• ¼ cup crumbled feta or goat cheese
• ¼ cup thin sliced red onion
• ¼ cup pistachios or toasted almonds (optional)
• BIG handful of @eatcrunchymunch Salt & Vinegar

Balsamic EVOO Dressing

Shake in a jar:
• 3 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
• 1½ tbsp balsamic vinegar
• 1 tsp honey or maple
• 1 tsp Dijon mustard
• Salt + pepper to taste

There’s something so special about the recipes that carry stories with them 🤍
This is Haresa — a traditional Arabic dish made with barley and beef.
My parents made it on cold mornings and holidays, and now I make it for my kids.
The smell fills our home with warmth and comfort — the kind that reminds you where you came from.

Ingredients:
• 4 cups water
• 1 tablespoon salt
• 1 ½ cups pearl barley washed
• 4 cups beef broth
• 1 ½ pounds top sirloin steak (frozen in broth or fresh)
• 1 can chickpeas
• Lemon, for serving

Instructions:
1. Add water, salt, pearl barley, beef broth, and top sirloin to your slow cooker.
2. Cook on low for 6 hours, stirring occasionally.
3. After 2 hours, add one can of chickpeas and stir.
4. Serve warm with a squeeze of lemon for brightness.
