Are you sick of watching everyone else score on Facebook Marketplace while you scroll past the same tired listings? You’re not alone. But the good news is, you can train your algorithm to work for you!

Here’s how to train your FBMP algorithm for results that hit 🔥:
• Set your search radius to the max (250 miles—we’ll dial it back later).
• Search with a combo of style keywords (vintage, antique, MCM, modern) + item keywords (table lamp, area rug, etc).
• Favorite everything that fits your style—price and distance don’t matter yet.
• Pop in a few times a day and repeat.
• After a few days, shrink your radius down to what you’re willing to drive (25–50 miles).

That’s it! Those little tricks just taught Facebook what you want to see more of, and now it will start feeding you the good stuff instead of the junk.

Obsessed with my “new” Lenox garden spice set! This was a FBMP find but they’re definitely out there (you just have to keep looking). Rounding up some other sets I found as well as other Lenox spice sets. Also this spice stadium was the perfect fit for the full set of 24 jars. Plus it doesn’t expand and allows for a streamlined look.

This green marble tray has been one of my favorite latest additions. There’s something about grounding a bunch of items that makes them look so much more chic instead of cluttered.

This is bananas 🍌love this brass hook that I stuck on my cabinets. It keeps my bananas fresh and has a magnetic clip so I can hide the hook when not in use. Win/win!

There is nothing budget friendly about getting new kitchen countertops. But also, why live with something you absolutely hate? The answer is you don’t have to.

Last fall while I was renovating my kitchen, I decided to transform my dark speckled granite countertops into a white carrara marble finish simply by painting them! It took me three base coats of white primer, and then I added “veining” by dragging a skinny paint brush dipped in charcoal grey paint and misting it with water for a feathered effect.

But won’t they get damaged? That’s where the epoxy topcoat comes in. The epoxy adds a shine and protects the new “marble” from everyday kitchen use. I'm 4 months into using mine and they've been holding up great!

Worth the wait! I'm finally ready to share some still shots of the kitchen renovation!

This was a true labor of love, and it pushed me out of my comfort zone in more ways than one, but I wouldn't take it back for anything. I learned so many new DIY skills, had some fresh lessons in the concept of "patience" and ended up with a kitchen that finally feels like me.

Sharing a close up of my new walnut butcher block counter top for my small kitchen island. I chose a chevron pattern and absolutely love it, but if that’s not your style there are so many other options and sizes to choose from. This is such a fantastic alternative to a stone counter and much more affordable too!
