There’s so much inspiration on the internet (trust me, I know). But you can still get an incredible transformation without going to the extreme. (No you do not need to knock that wall down)

This home office is living proof: I added chair rail, box molding, and crown molding. Painted everything and finished it with wallpaper. All the furniture stayed and most of the decor stayed or was somewhere else in the house.

Proof that simple, thoughtful changes can completely shift how a space feels.

You guys: this one was a real gamble. But boy do I love a good comeback story…

I don’t typically dabble with online auctions due to my competitive spirit, however when this lamp popped into my feed I knew I had to try.

The bones were great, but the listing photos were rough, and when I unboxed it I was excited but also a little concerned.

Luckily with a little elbow grease it polished right up and is a true statement piece now 😮‍💨

The home office has quickly become one of the most personal spaces in my house. A place designed to feel calm, inspiring, and deeply supportive of the creative work that happens here.

The starting point was this vintage tapestry wallpaper mural in beige from @belartestudio. I loved how it felt like a natural extension of the view outside my windows and instantly calming. The palette set the tone for the entire room and allowed everything else to feel intentional rather than loud.

The home office reveal ✨

What was once a white box is now one of the most inspiring rooms in the house. From the detailed trim work to the wallpaper mural wrapped in the warmest, saturated cream, this space feels like it’s quietly saying, please come in and stay awhile.

I’m so excited to finally have a room that supports the work that matters most to me—both my design work and my content creation. A space that feels layered, grounded, and creative in all the right ways.

This room has been quietly waiting for its moment, and this week it finally started to come to life.

When I first walked into this office it felt flat and unfinished, the kind of space you rush past instead of spend time in. Once the old peel and stick wallpaper came down (an covid eraproject I regretted) and I stripped it back to a true white box, the vision finally had room to take shape.

From there, every layer shifted the energy. The trim added the architectural detail I’ve been craving, and the dentil crown molding brought in that classic, traditional feel that grounds the entire room. It already feels like such a different space thanks to the gorgeous woodwork from @ornamentalmoulding @novobp.

And now we’re onto the part I’ve been so excited for. I’ll be spraying all of the trim in Joa’s White from @farrowandball. It’s the dreamiest warm cream, and I know it’s going to make the room feel cozy, inviting, and genuinely inspiring to work in.

After that, the mural wallpaper from @belartestudio goes up and then it’s finally time to decorate!
