This feels vulnerable to share here, but it matters to me. I’m posting a scene from the film All of It (released 2025), where I played a therapist supporting a woman after having a baby. I filmed this just before my second daughter was born, and even now I relate so deeply. These words by @kathrynfarrengal still ring true. The pressure. The overwhelm. The ridiculous amounts of love and then a tiredness like I’ve never, ever known. This role meant a great deal to me. I wish there were more conversations, more support, and more work that speaks honestly to this experience of postpartum life.
