It’s sooooo important to trim your wicks! Almost 100% of the houses I’ve been to have candles burning with untrimmed wicks. I make it a point to tell whoever’s house I’m at why trims needs to be trimmed. Here is why you need to do this: • clean burn (notice the black around your candles? That’s NOT clean burning. This can also end up in your lungs.) • longer lasting (big flames = more heat = candle running out quickly) • controlled flame (less risk of a fire) • better scent (less of a burning smell) You can buy a wick trimmer anywhere, but here are my faves.
