Sharing a few beauty favorites (like the microneedling pen I use on my face and around my belly button, my new holy grail lip combo, and my go-to for large pores and blemishes) plus some spring fashion I’m loving—my favorite long sleeve tee, the most luxe lounge set, and clogs that look just like The Row. Trust me, you won’t want to miss these!

These things save your day, save your sanity, and make you feel put together… even when the group chat knows you’re hanging on by coffee and dry shampoo. Skincare items you’ve never heard of or seen, camel toe concealing underwear (the real MVP of leggings season), my favorite item for the back pain girlies, the best lip combo, and SO much more. These aren’t all super cute. They’re not aesthetic. But they’re the quiet workhorses that make you feel human again.

Kimchi Recipe:

Ingredients (organic)
Thinly sliced, added to stainless steel bowl and generously salted and stirred. Set aside.
3 beets
1 head green cabbage
3 Persian cucumbers
1 bunch dill
1 thinly sliced red onion

For the sauce:
Add all below to blender and blend until a pulp
1in peeled ginger
4 garlic cloves
3 chopped Serrano peppers
2 honey crisp apples cored
Water to blend (maybe 2 cups)
3 TBS Fish sauce

Poor sauce mixture over sliced veggies and mix. Cover with plastic wrap and let sit overnight on the counter. Add to glass jars in the morning make sure liquid covers the vegetables and is filled to the top of the jars. Place on a cookie sheet (in case of overflowing). Burp jars (remove lid) in the morning and evening. Keep on the counter for three days or until the veggies taste fermented to your liking. Put the jars in the fridge after fermenting is complete!

If you’re like me and a little picky about spending, these are the 10 things I truly think are worth buying.

Kimchi:
Use all organic.
Thinly slice:
3 raw beets (peeled), 1 head green cabbage, 3 Persian cukes, 1 bunch dill, 1 red onion. Salt generously in a large bowl & toss… Let this rest.

Next blend: 1” ginger, 4 garlic cloves, 3 Serrano peppers, 2 Honeycrisp apples (cored), ~2c water, 3 T fish sauce.

Pour the blended mixture over the veggie, mix. Cover with plastic wrap, leave in the bowl on the counter overnight. Place in glass jars the next day (liquid covering, full), and seal jars with lids. Set jars on a tray (in case of overflowing). Burp (gently open and reseal) both AM/PM. Ferment for 3 days on counter (or to taste). Refrigerate.

As a mom of four, I’ve seen it all when it comes to cold and flu season. These are the things I always reach for this time of year! Sharing the magical vitamin that keeps me and my family healthy, the product that helps shorten a flu while also being great for your skin and sleep, the heating pad that’s perfect for aches or chills, and the one thing I boil as soon as I feel or hear a sniffle coming on.

Grandma’s tonic:
Immunity ice cubes:
- the juice of 6 organic lemons (and one whole lemon)
- 1/4 cup raw organic honey
- 3-5in of organic raw ginger (I just break off a large knob and throw it in whole)
- 1in organic tumeric (or 3tsp powdered)
- 5 cloves organic garlic
- 1/4tsp organic cayenne, 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1/4 cup purified water, coconut water or organic pineapple juice

Directions:
- Place all ingredients in a high power blender, pour into cubes and freeze!
